candidates already in the race and so it is certainly much slower than it was then and, having said that we have more than a year until the republican convention and there s lots of time to see what happens. it will be interesting to see, huckabee, who does well in knolls, mike huckabee, a fox news contributor said he will not decide until the summer and there is still the thought, well, gee, maybe somebody like chris christie or paul ryan would get in next fall and it could be late developing and there is nothing wrong with that and we d love to see a long, drawn-out primary, the equivalent of what happened with barack obama and hillary clinton in 2008 where it isn t decided until may or june. eric: that would be amazing and the next hour we ll talk about mitch daniels and in an hour we have one of the prospective candidates, herman cane, who will be here and i guess may be at the debate. we ll have to see. chris: he will be at the debate and i haven t met him or seen him in perso
