Jerry Seps at Storybook Mountain could see the Tubbs Lane fire just before 10 pm on Sunday night, October 8. His zinfandel vines rise up into the hills north of Calistoga, directly up the canyon from where the fire began. Josh Greene drove to Storybook a month later, following the path of the fire from Santa Rosa back to Tubbs Lane.
