On Saturday, Nov. 28, the 43rd Annual Elks Hamper Fundraiser took place at the Espanola Mall with the assistance of Rosalind Russell morning host from Moose 99.3FM CJJM, who provided cheery Holiday tunes for the occasion.
Gary Tennant, organizer of the event, disclosed that while some monies were still coming in, at least $5,164 has been raised from in person donations and over the phone pledges. He was joined as the Espanola Mall by supportive family members as well as other Elk volunteers.
