LAFAYETTE, Ind. Prosecutors presented evidence to jurors Tuesday that former teacher s aide Jennifer Holmgren sexually communicated with a boy she s accused of molesting.
It was the first day of trial for Holmgren, who used to be an aide at Klondike Elementary School.
The boy she s accused of molesting was not her student when the molesting happened, according to police statements after her arrest. However, she met the boy while he attended Klondike Elementary School.
Prosecutors will try to persuade jurors that Holmgren, 41, had sexual intercourse with the boy, as alleged in two Level 1 charges of child molesting.
Prosecutors also charged her with child seduction for having sex with the boy and a Level 4 child molesting charge for touching and fondling.
