Oregon senators announce $5 1 million to improve air quality in Klamath County

Klamath County Public Health and the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation have secured $5.1 million federal funds that will go towards improving air quality, according to a news release from Oregon senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley.

Narcan available over the counter

Narcan, also known as Naloxone, the lifesaving opioid overdose reversal drug will soon be sold over the counter, starting this month. The Food and Drug Administration originally approved its over-the-counter sale in March of this year, but it will be available this month because of the manufacturer, Emergent Biosolutions, sending shipments last week to retailers nationwide with a suggested price of $44.99 for a pack of two.
