Three other battleships and three cruisers suffered damage. Nearly 200 planes were destroyed and that sunday morning the Pacific Fleet appeared to be completely immobilized by this sneak attack. See what the noise was all about when they got on scene the fireball had lit up the night sky. It was chaos. Total chaos you could see the First Responders trying to get everything under control. Multiple crews worked to get the fire out. All while attending to those injured. I couldnt believe anybody wasnt killed. Richard myers says he never heard anything like that before. We both heard the big boom and she wanted to know what it gunshot. It was an explosion of some type. Total of nine people were inside at the time of the explosion. Everyone has since been accounted for. Seven people were transported to payson hospital and one woman who had more serious injuries was flown to phoenix and treated for burns. Neighbors say after feeling and hearing the explosion, they are shocked everyone made it out. Now the next step is to start people that lost their homes and stuff, its just horrific.
