Mauney view is that europe is going to continue to constitute the primary press to the Global Economic recovery in the year ahead and i simply dont i can understand the reasons why they want to be optimistic but i dont think that there is a real basis for being as optimistic as the europeans are on their economic outlook. Thank you. Thank you, desmond. Chris . Thank you, alex for sponsoring this interesting session that we have been having for quite a few years. I think it is extremely important to note how much time has gone by since the break in the house in housing bubble. Im going to comment on the housing side what is or is not happening in the Banking Sector and then finish up talking about the fed and some of the objectives of qualitative easing. The reason is one of the three criteria is in keeping Interest Rates so low is to encourage credit creation. The mortgage industry traditionally has been the primary, a year built for Monetary Policy. A drop rates, borrowing costs go do
Has programs which clearly leads to the disappearance of a million jobs. Isnt it time for the admit theyre wrong and to apologize . My honorable friend is absolutely right. The british economy is on the mend. We see unemployment coming down. The numbers didnt work going up. Our growth rate now forecast to be almost three times as fast as German Growth and frankly the Party Opposite and leader of the opposition told us we would lose a million jobs. He was absolutely wrong and it is time he got to his feet and told us he was wrong. Mr. Speaker . First of all, we couldnt dealt with the debt of the existing medicaid, which is for women, the elderly, children, and the disabled. What Medicaid Expansion does is expand that to much more of the population, and i could argue for good reasons because theyre being served off in the emergency room and so forth, but the dilemma i had was this. In a very short period of time, i would have had to put a brand new democracy bureaucracy together at a time period that i couldnt meet. I knew i couldnt meet it. When my current bureaucracy couldnt handle medicaid cost overruns happening. In my state, it was 500 million over projections set forth by the Previous Legislature and previous governor. Over 500 million over projection. Thats out of a 20 billion budget. Thats a big hit. There went all my teacher raises right there. Infrastructure. So the Medicaid Expansion is, i think, one of the most difficult issues on governors plates right now. Let me tell you the other issue we are having, and that i
For itself what is necessary to protect the safety of human life and federal property. The parksike what service is saying here is the only way for us to secure this property is putting up these massive barricades. That seems odd. I do not think it would be court. Ged in i think it is a safe bet for the park service to make these calls. Anotheract, there is argument against this, which is for many years, the executive branch since the stockton memo in 1981, the omb issued a memo that said what sorts of things are essential . We get to keep security on the payroll. Park security is still getting paid. It seems odd that the park service would be setting shutting down a part for security reasons when the security personnel are allowed to be staffing the us monuments. That is just kind of strange. The second issue i would like to talk about is the blocking of private or coowned property. The congressman mentioned lake mead. There was a news story about a whole bunch of folks with vacation
