It s been 18 months since the world was confronted by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has claimed more than 4 million lives so far.
In Thailand, the crisis has seen many businesses adjust in hopes of survival as the patience and fighting spirit of many people have been put to the test.
In Bangkok alone, the coronavirus virus has made the city look like a ghost town at times, with scenarios once thought impossible in one of the world s great bustling cities.
These include empty roads in a city whose traffic is usually known as one of the worst in the world and the absence of chaos in key business and tourist areas such as Silom, Asok, Chinatown and the long line of tourists usually queued up for tourist attractions such as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew).
