Sawmill Fire Update 10:27 pm
On Friday just before midnight, authorities were called to Kitko Wood Products in Glen Hope, Clearfield County for a building fire.
Authorities said this building has been vacant for a while.
“It has been out of business for a period of time it was an out building, steel roof steel siding there was only scrap wood inside that building,” said Trooper Russell Stewart, Fire Marshal for Pennsylvania State Police.
Trooper Russell Sewart said there were no gas or electric lines connected to the building.
“There was no items inside of that building for spontaneous combustion and we had no lighting strikes that evening so that would basically rules out all accidental causes,” he said.
