WEST CHESTER, PA More than 150 gathered in Malvern to acknowledge service to women and girls in Chester County by an organization that s been here a quarter-century for that purpose.
The Fund for Women and Girls marked 25 years of serving local women and girls at the 16th Annual Making a Difference Luncheon on May 7 at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern. A hybrid event welcoming over 150 in-person and virtual attendees, the Fund s annual luncheon recognized the power of 25 years of impact, honored the philanthropy and contributions of Mary Lou Sterge, highlighted the wisdom of keynote speaker Uva Coles, and leaned into a bold future for women and girls.

WEST CHESTER, PA A Chester County organization wants to know about women who ve made substantial contributions to the well being of women and girls this year.
The Chester County Fund for Women and Girls (CCFWG) is now accepting nominations for its 2021 Kitchen Table Award. Established in 2011 to honor a Chester County woman who represents the mission and values of the organization, the Kitchen Table Award is presented at CCFWG s annual Making a Difference Luncheon.
CCFWG said the award recipient is an outstanding Chester County woman who has made substantive contributions through service and/or philanthropy to improve the lives of women and girls through her own time, talent or resources.
