AMRITSAR: While announcing a series of programmes , the leaders of Sayunkat Kisan Morcha (SKM) has asked the government to make a conducive atmosphere by way of accepting some of their demands ahead of the 12th round of talks even as they have denied receiving any formal invitation of talks from the government.
While talking to TOI after attending a meeting of SKM on Wednesday, state president of Zamhauri Kisan Sabha Satnam Singh Ajnala said the SKM has decided to close all toll plazas of Rajasthan on February 12 and plans to take out a candle march to pay homage to the martyrs of Pulwama attack and the farmers who had died during their agitation on February 14. On February 16, the farmers would celebrate Sir Chotu Ram Jayanti and on February 18 the farmers will observe a nationwide rail roko from 12 pm to 4 pm.
AMRITSAR: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation to farmers for yet another round of discussions to resolve the issue of three controversial agri laws, the farmer leaders now expect the government to make the atmosphere conducive, by way of accepting some of their demands ahead of the 12th round of meeting.
