The murder happened in lake wales back in 2011. During the trial, jurors voted unanimously to recommend that davis should die for the killings. Circuit judge Michael Hunter imposed the death sentence. Davis was also sentenced to death for the executionstyle killings of two clerks at a bp gas station and convenience store. Out of seminole county. Police are searching for at least two men accused of robbing a verizon Cell Phone Store. They robbed the place, and then they took off. Over a deputy. John carlos ortiz is charged with attempted murder. Reporter a sigh of relief as he turned himself in today after being accused of running over a sheriffs deputy on friday. The big question is wl where hes been since friday. Investigators say he ran down sergeant marcy pierce as she was trying to take him into custody. He called from his mothers home at 1 15 this afternoon, and then sheriffs picked him up. He was then transported to the juvenile assessment center. A main priority would be tracing his steps and figuring out where hes been the last few days. Its a tragedy all the way around that this is a yuck man, a teenager, that is now in some pretty serious trouble. Lesson to other teenagers that trouble is easy to get into but very difficult to get out of, and were going to trust our system of justice at this point as we move forward.
