The Ts’msyen writer took home three prizes at the 2023 Canadian Children's Book Awards for her debut novel Weird Rules to Follow, including the TD Canadian Children's Literature Award.
The TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award and $50,000, which is the largest cash prize in Canadian children’s literature, was awarded to Weird Rules to Follow by debut author Kim Spencer.
The Canadian Children’s Book Centre (CCBC) has announced the finalists for seven awards celebrating best Canadian books for young people.
