Peter Hutchieson, 38, made the remarks to the woman on January 21 this year. He appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court for sentencing after previously pleading guilty to acting in a racially aggravated manner by uttering the offensive comments to his victim. Knightswood: Police tape off high-rise flats after man found seriously injured

A MAN is in critical condition after being found seriously injured in Knightswood in the early hours of this morning.  The 43-year-old was found within a close at a high-rise block of flats in Kirkton Avenue at 3am. He is in critical condition in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.  A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the alleged incident, and officers are continuing to carry out enquiries.  It is believed that the flats are currently taped off and residents have reported having to sign in and out. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 3am on Monday, April 5, a 43-year-old man was found injured within a close in Kirkton Avenue, Glasgow.
