With the trains silent and our workers on strike due to the inability to reach an agreement with the bart district at the collective bargaining table. Most of you know in the last week, we have had intensive bargaining thats featured a federal mediator from washington, d. C. And the last bargaining session we had was a marathon. It was 28, almost 30 hours of bargaining. We really thought we were going to reach an agreement. Uhm the union had moved a lot off its positions on economic issues. We had moved to barts position on pensions. We had moved to barts position we had moved to barts position on healthcare costs. We had agreed to lower our request for a wage increase.
