Snowmobilers are being asked to keep off ski trails after the Kirkland Lake Cross Country Ski Runners saw about nine hours of their work undone in a few thoughtless moments.
“ On Wednesday, March 3, our volunteers went out to groom the ski trails in the evening behind the Kirkland Lake Complex,” said Ian Salonius, President of the Kirkland Lake Cross Country Ski Runners “The next night , snowmobilers drove out on our ski trails so our groomers had to go out on Saturday morning to fix the damage caused by these inconsiderate, irresponsible vandals.”
