Brandon City Council voted to approve approximately half a million dollars in improvements and repairs to the city’s water system on Monday.
Under the contract, contractor Allen & Bolack Excavating will abandon the wet well and associated pumping a the Hilton Lift Station, install a water service to the Biogas Building at the Water Reclamation Facility and install knife gate valves at the Kirkcaldy Lift Station for a price of $489,672.26.
