Kirkbrae country club becomes vaccination clinic

Charest was one of an expected 750 people those with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caretakers to be vaccinated at a clinic organized by the Community Provider Network of Rhode Island, a trade association for those who provide services to people with those disabilities. This was the third one held at Kirkbrae, after a smaller trial run in a Coventry school building. One more is scheduled this week at Kirkbrae and two more next week.

“CPNRI is an organization made up of 23 local nonprofit organizations that are dedicated to supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Rhode Island,” he said. We provide a range of different services supporting both children and adults in a range of settings, whether it be providing in-home services or 24-hour care services and making sure that people have adequate supports and resources towards really leading an enriched life and connecting to their local communities.“
