The 2020 smartphone parade is coming to an end, manufacturers will pause for the New Year holidays. But from January next year, a new season will begin. Among those who will start the series of announcements in the first month of this year will be Honor, which has gained independence from Huawei. The first device of the brand in the new status should be the Honor V40 and its presentation can be expected on January 12. In addition, new information regarding its SoC has appeared.
Recently, Honor V40 was found in the GameBench gaming benchmark database. This made it possible to find out that the new product will be based on the Dimensity 1000+ SoC with the Mali-G77 MC9 video accelerator. At the moment, it is the most advanced MediaTek chip, which also offers 5G support.
