When she was 13, Radha’s mornings would start with preps for competitive swimming and her evenings would be taken up by her passion for skating. A sports enthusiast, for Radha it was a struggle to sit idle for a moment. That is until life had a rude shock in store for her.
The first signs of an impending crisis were the weakness in her lower limbs. Despite early medical consultations and several possible explanations, no one could explain what exactly was wrong. Things went on a drastic downswing when she was put on steroids after a misdiagnosis, causing irreversible damage to her, culminating into a rare neuro-muscular disorder and confining her to a wheelchair.
