A St Michael man has been fined $25,000 for having an illegal firearm and ammunition, 10 years after committing the offence.The fines were imposed on Kiplyn Hallam Ifill by Justice Pamela Beckles in the No. 5 Supreme Court on Monday.Ifill, a resident of Mapp Hill, had previously pleaded guilty to having a .32 H&R Magnum firearm and six rounds of ammunition on June 22, 2010.
Firearm offences are serious crimes which need to be visited with severe penalties.
