It runs from here to silverton. Case that the canyon is at least 80 miles in length. The river is probably more like 120 miles. It is the second largest canyon in the United States after the grand. It is not a single canyon. There are many canyons that branch off to the sides. We are standing in an area or we can see three canyons from where we are at right now.
