The news came out during the April Monster Hunter Digital Event held on Twitch and YouTube, as they revealed that Lilia and Reverto will be returning to the series. The duo is on a brand new mission to capture your companion Razewing Ratha before it can awaken its destructive power, which has been foretold in the prophecy of the Wings of Ruin. Capcom held a digital event yesterday fully dedicated to the Monster Hunter franchise. Fans of the series who tuned in have learned more details about the developer s upcoming Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin game.
Along with new trailers and gameplay for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, Capcom offered players a first look at two returning characters from Monster Hunter Stories, as well as a brief overview of the strategic overhaul to the turn-based combat system.
In Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, players take the role of a young Monster Rider who can use a Kinship Stone to form strong bonds with monsters. The first two major characters revealed in the trailer, Lilia and Reverto will be returning from the original Monster Hunter Stories.
