East Springfield marijuana store seeks summer opening with new partner

SPRINGFIELD A business planning a marijuana shop, co-owned by former City Councilor Timothy Rooke, is hoping to open by July with a new partner, Rooke said.
Rooke and other business representatives will present the proposed ownership change and other details at a City Council public hearing on Monday, conducted by remote due to the coronavirus pandemic. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.
The business, 311 Page Blvd. LLC, is planning the adult-use marijuana shop at that address at the corner of Guion Street in East Springfield, formerly the Crossfit Journey gym.
