MANITOWOC - Manitowoc Public School District will offer an online learning option for students in kindergarten through 12th grade next fall through a new McKinley Academy online charter school.
McKinley Academy, 1002 E. Cedar Ave., has served as an alternative high school in the district since 2007 and will be converted into a K-12 online charter school open to all resident students in the district and non-resident students who enroll through the state’s open enrollment program.
Superintendent Mark Holzman said in an email Thursday that no enrollment limits will be in place for the 2021-2022 school year, although enrollment limits will be set every January for the following school year.
