Crew members from Sullivan County Emergency Medical Services will be out in force Monday at Walmart on Fort Henry Drive to ring bells and âFill the Boxâ to support the Salvation Army of Greater Kingsport.
âYour emergency workers â EMS, fire, police officers â see the need more than anybody because we actually go into homes when they dial 9-1-1. We are out in the community and see that thereâs hardship,â said Deputy Chief Kevin Marsh. âIf we can make sure every child gets a gift for Christmas, thatâs the ultimate goal for this.â
This year, there are more than 500 local children in the Kingsport Salvation Armyâs Angel Tree program.
