Wei-Ling Hsu opens with 66 in Williamsburg

Wei-Ling Hsu fired a 5-under par 66 on Thursday to take a one-shot lead after the first round of the Pure Silk Championship at Williamsburg, Va.
Hsu of Chinese Taipei finished her opening round with a clean scorecard, posting five birdies on the day at the Kingsmill Resort Golf Course. She strung together three straight birdies on the back nine to boost her round. Definitely feel really good, and I didn t really think about this much, but had a good iron into the green today and couple I mean, a lot of birdie chances, Hsu said. So I just kept waiting, and finally when I make a turn like three birdies in a row on the back nine, which is 12, 13, 14.
