Ghanaians celebrate 64th Independence Day on social media

Many languages and tribes, Different cultures, Different believes, And this makes our nation great and strong”. Ghana, formerly Gold Coast, on March 6, 1957, under the leadership of Kwame Nkrumah, attained her independence from British colonial rule, becoming the first sub-Saharan African country to break free from European colonialism. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the 64th Independence parade takes place at the presidential palace, Jubilee House, without public attendance. Ghanaians are instead watching the parade via live stream on the Facebook page of the Ghanaian Ministry of Information.
