Gould said people have a First Amendment right to speak out, but when social media posts use vulgar language or talk about specific people, they violate terms of service and can be deleted. Our efforts are working, we re talking about inclusion and embracing others and being kind, Gould said.
At Tuesday s school board meeting, the public comment period featured six community members who raised issues about everything from what teachers in the district are teaching children about racial diversity to one woman who spoke against the Kings High Schools juniors and seniors voting in a female prom king.
