According to police, the man has been released from police custody and will face no further action. A MAN has been arrested following an attempted rape near Southampton. Police say the incident, which happened on Saturday, involved a 31-year-old woman who was attacked by a man who had made an indecent suggestion to her. The incident happened in woods off Row Down, between Roughdown Lane and Kings Copse Road, Blackfield. Police previously launched a manhunt and appealed to the public for information. A 31-year-old woman was attacked after she told a man who made an indecent suggestion to go away, say police. The woman had been sitting on a fallen tree trunk while out walking in woodland off Row Down, between Roughdown Lane and Kings Copse Road, Blackfield. She had planned to eat her lunch sometime between 11.20am and 11.50am on Saturday when the man approached her.
