By the Bard Association which many of you are members and those of you are not, hope you will become. It is the Affinity Group of lawyers in washington dc and elsewhere to try to support not only art in general but this from the computer in specific. As you know, tonights argument is based on the text of William Shakespeares macbeth which was produced by the theater this spring and directed by liesel on this very stage. It was a wonderful event and im sure many of you attended it. I want to start with a trend by thanking the people that you will see on the stage and the people who are not on the stage but make this possible. This event comes together in large part because theres a group of people with whom i am honored to work, who work on coming up with the ideas, coming up which plate we will do and figuring out what the legal questions can be. These are the people who year in and year out make this possible. I realize after last winter that while i always think them in general i wan
The new military act you refer to is an important contribution to democracy. But we also have to make sure that we safeguard and protect the integrity of the voter. And we have to make sure that the machinery that we use is not used to subvert the very vote that were trying to lift up. [applause] so i got you. There are places like oregon that are experimenting and its a positive thing. But im going to say this, brother. Im on twitter. Bottom line the bottom line is we are going to use those social media tools. But we also have to engage where people are. There are people who are not plugged in and need to cast a ballot. There are some who are and they can have alternatives. But our job is to organize that community in the broadest sense and link issues of importance to what they do. You talk about economic jeff, my last point. Payday lenders is a scourge, a scourge in our community. [applause] their are potential regulations that are going to be issued soon determined by the Obama Adm
[applause] [applause] emblem it gives me goose bumps. Liberty and justice for all. You secured it for us. And you encourage to americas finest to hang in there and keep fighting for it. So liberty and justice for all, even for those who we would disagree with. It is an inherent, godgiven passion and the need to be free. He created less with that drive to be free. Friends, we, in this room, we know weight. We live it. We are the liberty movement. We, the people. You, men and women serving in the military. And look at the representation of our military here in this room. You have secured the movement of the brides of United States citizens, to dream into thinking to believe that to do. God put dreams in new. You have to go get them. That is how you live life vibrantly with no regrets. You need freedom to do that. We are not afraid of liberty because we know that in a free and open debate our common sense , ethical, fair ideas went. That is why they are afraid, desperate and divisive. End
