The 61-apartment block, with interior design by Conran and Partners, is sited between the green spaces of Lewis Cubitt Park and Jellicoe Gardens in the King’s Cross Central Development
The Squire & Partners-designed block, named LUMA, is intended to echo the former industrial character of King’s Cross in its form of stepped warehouse-style buildings with the façade’s patterning in part inspired by converging railway tracks.

This pattern is also picked up in decorative lattice screens, bas-relief aluminium and concrete panels inside and outside the building. Bronze-coloured splayed bays with balconies overlook Lewis Cubitt Park, while retail and restaurant units at ground level flank the entrance.
