International Humanitarian Hackathon s finalists present final pitch on second day of ‘DIHAD’
DUBAI, 16th March, 2021 (WAM) The 17th edition of Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition – DIHAD continued on the second day, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The 3-day gathering of humanitarian leaders, running until the 17th of March under the theme, ‘Aid and Coronavirus, a Focus on Africa’, focuses on the need to find innovative solutions to the most pressing issues and challenges facing the African continent.
‘Dihad’ Conference and Exhibition kicks off next week
DUBAI, 22 days ago Running under the theme “Aid and Coronavirus, a Focus on Africa”, the 17th edition of Dihad will discuss next week the most pressing topics, with a focus on Africa and the issues that arose with the emergence of the Coronavirus. It will also discuss other issues such as: The Impact of Conflicts and Humanitarian Crises, The Impact of Climate Change, Population Growth, Urbanisation, Education and Employment, and many more. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Dubai, The Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition- Dihad, will be held from March 15 to 17, 2021, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Dubai to host global humanitarian summit in March
DUBAI, February 23, 2021 The 17th edition of the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference & Exhibition- DIHAD, the leading humanitarian gathering in the region, will be held from March 15 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Held under the theme ‘Aid and Coronavirus, a focus on Africa’, DIHAD 2021 will highlight the critical challenges facing people in Africa as it is impacted by the Coronavirus while also addressing the needs of humanitarian aid workers contributing constructively to a more effective global approach towards and within the continent in question. In its 17th edition, DIHAD will present a rich and comprehensive agenda and is expected to attract over 6,000 visitors and participants from over 84 countries.
