Seven new Muvi cineplexes coming up in Saudi Arabia
RIYADH, 23 days ago Chapman Taylor, a leading global architect and masterplanner, has announced that work is in full swing on seven new cineplexes of the kingdom s homegrown cinema brand, Muvi, with the first one in Buraydah city set to open in April. Established in 2019 in Riyadh, Muvi Cinemas offer movie-goers an array of viewing options that range from Xperience, ScreenX, Dolby Cinema, and Samsung Onyx theaters. Following the lifting of the ban on cinema in 2018, the very next year Chapman Taylor was signed up by the first Saudi-owned cinema chain to design and deliver a series of state-of-the art cinemas for the Muvi Cinemas brand.
JEDDAH: Jeddah Health Affairs on Thursday launched a vaccination program against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) for home healthcare patients. The program, which is supported by the Health Ministry, is aimed at adult home healthcare patients and adults who share a residence with these patients.
Ministry spokesman Dr. Mohammed Al-Abd Al-Aly said on Thursday that Saudi Arabia’s coronavirus infection rate continues to fluctuate and is being monitored closely.
He highlighted the importance of adherence to precautionary measures.
Saudi Arabia reported four more virus-related deaths on Thursday, lifting the overall death toll to 6,514. The ministry reported 375 new cases, meaning that 378,708 people have contracted the disease. There are 2,581 active cases, with 503 in critical condition.
