A non-alcoholic social scene that encourages a relational environment of peace and unity, Inland Kava Bar has opened at 118 E. Lakeside Ave. downtown. It will be expanding into the former Toro Viejo space on Second Street.
The Children's Warehouse will have its grand opening Aug. 1 at 2120 N. Third St. (next to Resort Property Management). The business formerly was Babies and Beyond at 4025 Government Way with owner Susan Elliott-Lawson retiring after 22 years.
A reenvisioned apartment and commercial community called Heartwood at Millworx is now on the old Idaho Veneer mill site at 910 W. Fourth Ave. in Post Falls.
Specializing in custom stone countertops, Idaho Rock Creations is open at 923 N. Boulder Court in Post Falls.
The products include granite, quartz, marble, quartzite countertops in kitchens and bathrooms. Master craftsman David Curry offers fireplace hearths, bowls, knives and other items made from stone. He is joined by son Camron and wife Cristy Guy-Curry. Daughter Shania Rush has a nail technician area.
