MUSKEGON, MI – Three homes will soon be built on city-owned lots in downtown Muskegon that have been empty for years.
The houses will be sold for around $150,000 to $165,000 based on family income. The target market is for households making 80% or below the median income, which is $50,854 in Muskegon County, according to latest census data.
Muskegon City Commission approved last month plans from Community enCompass, a social and community services organization, to build and market the houses.
