Another adjournment in sexual assault intimidation case
The case against a Battle Creek woman charged with intimidating the victim in a rape case was adjourned Monday after prosecutors couldn t find the victim.
Tina Frederick, 45, of Battle Creek is charged with witness intimidation and lying to police after Calhoun County Sheriff Department deputies said she threatened to kill the victim and and attempted to have her sign an affidavit that she lied about the kidnapping and rape.
Frederick was arrested as part of an investigation after a woman, 28, told them she was kidnapped, beaten and sexually assaulted at a residence on Dickman Road in Springfield on Oct. 12.
