Within the span of five months, Kimberly Squirrel’s siblings have lost her and both their parents.
Kimberly, 34, a mother of six children, was found dead in Saskatoon on Jan. 23, three days after she was released from the Pine Grove provincial jail for women near Prince Albert.

She was found frozen near Avenue Q South and 18th Street West in Saskatoon, an intersection that sits on the border between the Pleasant Hill and West Industrial neighbourhoods.
