The Exeter School District is closing the high school after learning of six COVID-19 positive cases.
Dr. Kimberly Minor, superintendent, said in an email to parents Tuesday that the building will close Wednesday and remain closed through Jan. 4 due to the COVID cases and the winter holidays.
Classes will be conducted online from Wednesday through next Tuesday before the holiday break begins.Â

The high school nurse will contact parents of students who have come in contact with those who are COVID-positive and advise them to quarantine, Minor said.
Minor s email does not indicate who tested positive.
