From an intersection in san jose, i guess the stoplights are not working. A lot of pockets in san jose are without power. But the hardest hit neighborhood is right here. The evergreen neighborhood in east san jose. I want to show you something very interesting. Im going to walk to my left. That has light right there. So my left side has light. But on this side theres no power. All the homes east of this intersection here are without power. Neighbors say it started around 6 00 and pg e says they dont know when theyll be able to restore power in this area. They say many of the Power Outages are heat related. Theyre still investigating the cause. Its been a hot day and a lot of people have their ac turned on. That could have overloaded their system. Now want to show you a graphic here. This hot weather is our top story in firefighters rushed to the fire in benicia and a large pile of wood went up in flames off of 680 and about five miles northeast of the valero refinery. The power pole came down early this morning and here are live pictures and we are right there. The big concern is that the fire mace red. We saw 10 new High Temperature records set yesterday as for this morning, its warm. We didnt get much cooling overnight, so were waking up to widespread 60s and 70s. By noon we should see upper 80s along the bay shoreline and low 90s inland. Then, by later this afternoon, well hit our maximum temperatures which will be low 100s, once again, for the inland valleys. Expect low 90s along the bay waterfront. Hot weather is expected to continue all week. A heat advisory for all inland valleys has been extended through thursday.
