STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. The Spain-based Santander Bank will consolidate its operations on Staten Island by closing its St. George branch, the Advance has learned.
The company, which closed three Island branches in 2018, has decided to shutter its operations at 15 Hyatt St. on March 26, 2021. Bankers were notified in a letter, obtained by the Advance/SILive.com, that they can start banking on March 27, 2021, at the 81 Water St. branch in Stapleton.
