On Tuesday, November 30th, at 6:00 p.m. central, the LaSalle Public Library will virtually host Kimberley Ortega, Museum Technician – National Museum of the American Sailor – for a presentation honoring the 80th anniversary of attack on Pearl Harbor. <br/><br/>The shocking attack and major defeat at Pearl Harbor was the catalyst for the emergence of a new and determined navel fleet. In this virtual program, Kimberley Ortega, will examine the events leading up to the attack, how sailors and nurses responded, as well as the aftermath and legacy of the attack that is considered the Navy’s greatest defeat. <br/><br/>Kimberley Ortega holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in History with minors in Museum Studies and Anthropology, and a Master of Public Administration degree with an Emphasis in Museum Administration. <br/>While at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Kimberley had the opportunity to work at th
