Nurse’s dedication to seniors inspires
When it comes to caring for the elderly, the dedication of Esther Arulogun takes some topping.
The Carinity Colthup Manor aged care community Registered Nurse has been recognised with a service award for her 36 years’ faithful service – a milestone achieved while using only a handful of sick days.
Between them Kim Peck and Esther Arulogun have worked at Carinity Colthup Manor aged care in Ipswich for more than 60 years.
Esther was inspired to care for the sick and elderly in Ipswich after being hospitalised numerous times as a child.
“I was always a sick child, so I wanted to become a nurse to look after sick people. I feel it is very meaningful to help the elderly,” Esther says.
