Mahogany Mountain Vineyard and Winery in Ramona, winner of numerous wine competition awards, is in the position to pursue more tasting customers and seek a permit to hold special events.
Although owners Michael and Kim Hargett are not planning to expand the buildings or other physical structures, they hope to increase operations. Their goals include hosting Ramona Valley Vineyard Association monthly meetings and educational events based around harvest time, bottling and barreling. Weddings are another possibility, although the guest list would top off at 100.
