The Billerica Select Board voted 3-2 Monday evening to renew the retail cannabis license for Community Care Collective for another year despite frustration from most of the board over an apparent breach of the company’s contract with the town.
A judge in Middlesex Superior Court in Lowell said Thursday afternoon that he would likely make a decision soon in a lawsuit against the town of Billerica concerning the controversial town center project.
