not really about the virus. it s such a major piece of legislation. it s the most significant change for middle class people, for poor people, people trying to get into the middle class in decades in a very long time. it has amazing things in it. if everybody is vaccinated by june, then it s clearly not related to covid. there is $350 billion for state and local government. california is getting $41 billion. that $41 billion is not related to covid, it s related to kind of helping a blue state. meanwhile, a humanitarian crisis is growing at the u.s./mexico border. fema ordered to help shelter and transfer a record number of child migrants. the biden administration addressing this situation last hour right here on my show. when you look at the past four years, just the rule inhumane way that the last administration moved forward with immigration, it did not enhance our security at all. and so now we re in a situation where, you know, this president and the administrati
help and hope in a community that s really been rocked by what has happened here over the weekend. that 21-year-old suspect you talk about walking into the store but beginning his killing spree outside, firing into a vehicle in the parking lot and killing a 19-year-old employee who was in that car. then, as you mentioned, inside the store and killing two more employees. what investigators are telling us is he let a couple people inside the store go, some white, but others he let go before opening fire. he was leaving the dollar general as police met him at the door. he rushed inside, barricaded inside an office and apparently turned his weapon on himself. we know that he left several letters, a suicide note, and then those what police are calling manifestos, hate-filled, rage-filled notes, talking about killing african-americans.
would have embraced the nation s diversity as its strength. right. would know the history, the idea of talking about, you know, killing african-americans as replacers when we have been here literally since way before this was a country. you know, i trace my family here back well over 200 years. you know, the idea and so republicans, the party and the individuals who led it, would be out, would be forceful, and would be forthright and would, you know, join hands. march across the pettis bridge, if necessary. right. that republican party is gone. no, they re afraid to do that. what are you hearing from republicans in the wake of buffalo? you re hearing these sort of lame defenses. oh, we didn t say that.
now, the line between politics and sports always sort of controversial, always critical of one side or the other for stepping over that line. that line has now been obliterated. the raiders, the owners have spoken out as have many owners around the league. one of the interesting parts is many of these owners i m losing my umbrella. many of these owners have in fact given political money to president donald trump who thought in alabama opening this fuse by criticizing colin kaepernick and others who have knelt against police injustment and brutality against african-americans. the raiders have marshawn lynch, a star running back. he s been sitting on a cooler during the national anthem. hasn t said exactly why, although everyone is inferring he s backing colin kaepernick s line. they have the only all african-american offensive line in the national football league. they have let it be known
