Just over a century later, the chain arrived in the U.S. last year with a first location in Palo Alto. The eatery serves coffee, tea, kaya toast toasted bread with a kind of coconut jam and a variety of Singaporean cuisine, which the franchise describes as a combination of Burmese, Malaysian, Chinese, Indonesian, and Thai food.

The Slingshot, Asia s tallest slingshot and a new thrill ride, will be opening in Clarke Quay later this year. SkyHelix Sentosa will be Singapore’s first open-air panoramic attraction that allows visitors scenic views of Sentosa and our Southern Waterfront. It will open in 2022. Other announcements made at the conference include STB s work in refreshing tourism attractions, as well as new accommodation offerings. Transforming carpark into event space In terms of refreshing tourism attractions, Tan pointed to the continued transformation of Grange Road carpark in Orchard Road into a lifestyle and event space, which is expected to be completed in 2022.

One Faber Group and Slingshotz Pte Ltd SINGAPORE- An ice cream museum and another thrill ride in Clarke Quay are some of the new attractions Singaporeans can expect from this year, as Singapore seeks to enhance its attractiveness to prepare its hard-hit tourism sector for recovery. Sentosa will also welcome its own attraction next year, the SkyHelix Sentosa, an open-air rotating gondola that will ascend 35m above ground and offer views of Singapore s southern coast. There are also plans to have a new attraction at the vacant site between Somerset Skate Park and Killiney Road, as part of a plan to test-bed new concepts in Orchard Road.
