KILLEEN, TX â COVID-19 forced thousands of businesses across the country to close their doors due to restrictions with others shutting down indefinitely.
However, things are looking up for the City of Killeen. The city is quickly becoming a hub for small businesses.
Since the beginning of this year, the Killeen Chamber of Commerce has added 13 new members. That means 13 new businesses booming in the city.
Kendra Davis, the owner of We Clean It Custodial Services, decided there was no better time than now to turn her side hustle into a full blow business.

The Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce announced this week that they re holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony for
Therapeutic Loving Connections Matchmaking.
The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, February 25 at the new matchmaking HQ at 1519 Florence Suite 3 in Killeen. It s set to start at 12:00 PM.
The public is encouraged to come out and welcome this new business to the community. You know, show them some love! That s what it s all about, right?
If you attend in person, you will be asked to follow social distancing protocols and wear a mask. COVID-19 is still out there, so play it safe. If you d like to watch the ceremony remotely, it ll be streamed on the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
