if you re his parents, right, you re advising him take the deal. okay. so garrett, mueller played hard ball with paul manafort having his house raided in a predawn raid. supporters of the president are so upset about that. gates was his protege. does that fit about mueller s m.o. maybe get him to flip against manafort and others? absolutely. part of that cnn reporting tonight shows there might be or may already be prepared superceding indictments against rick gates and paul manafort that could bring new or updated or sort of shifted sets of charges. rick gates has always been sort of a peripheral figure at least so far in this investigation. and it was clear even from that original indictment last fall that mueller s team was leaving the door open to make a deal
see what happens. suppose at&t doesn t go through with this. long fights with the government, even if you win, are brutal and costly. you know, i don t think they want to buy this without cnn. to be honest with you, i wonder if directv is that big of a deal for the doj? they re more worried about the content assets being associated with at&t distribution. neil: i was getting into this with charlie last week. it s not as if cnn, which is a viable entity, wouldn t be near and dear to anyone else. so it s not as if it was forced to be jettisoned from time-warner that it could find other buyers. so i don t know if you can argue that the message from donald trump or the white house was kill this thing, that you kill cnn, that doesn t appear to be the case at all to me. look, not only cnn here, but cnn is gargantuan internationally. anybody would want to pick them up. my issue i complained under years under obama, a lot of
debate. did your presidential pick change. whose message resonated the most? log on to the fox and friends first facebook page. #keep talking. much more post debate analysis starting on fox and friends. thank for joining us. bye. good morning to you. it is wednesday, november 11, 2015. i m elisabeth hasselbeck. the stakes were high and the candidates delivered. think about the families. think about the children. send them back $500,000 a month is not possible. we either have a country or we don t have a country. we are a country of laws. but the real winner, the fox business network. don t listen to us say that. let cnn tell you. it s going to kill cnn. ben carson fires aback calling out hillary clinton on her changing story over
it was so bad they had he didn t say oops. and stop. and oops will haunt you. all right john roberts, thaus very much. he just mentioned live from milwaukee that for the most part universal praise for fox business, the debate moderators. and, this must kill cnn, the head line on cnn s website, cnn money said no debate over fox business moderators, better than cnbc, and gave us, our sister network, the props that they deserved, said the conversation was about the candidates, not about the moderators, which is what was the case after the cnbc debate just a couple of weeks ago. well, what a great job by fox business here and what a disciplined job and execution by the moderators. they actually gave the american voter something to chew on for the rest of the evening, and we got to actually see and hear from differences between the candidates. one of those issues that came up was immigration. ted cruz arguably had the moment of the night on that. he did.
reporter: we asked new yorkers themselves? does it bother you? no. i mean a lot of politicians have their issues. i just i think this one we can put behind us. i think it s creepy. i don t think i would want that as my mayor. reporter: dana bash, cnn, new york. we are finding out more about the person on the other line of the investigation. sydney leathers. she posted regularly about democratic politics and pictures of herself. leathers opened up in april about her relationship with anthony weiner says she loved him but not anymore. he manipulated her in a way she believed they were in love and he was going to provide for her in the future. this idea he s reformed or sorry were what he did is not true.
