The Cathaoirleach of Kilkenny County Council Andrew McGuinness is supporting the #bestshot campaign backing local pharmacies to deliver the Covid-19 vaccines to our communities. I fully support this campaign because it makes absolute sense in terms of ensuring the vaccine is distributed safely, quickly and efficiently. Enabling those qualified to assist is a necessity in my view and in the interest of public health, said Cllr McGuinness.
A number of Kilkenny TDs have also lent their support to the campaign.
Deputy John McGuinness (Fianna Fáil) said that the maximum number of qualified personnel available should be used to ensure a speedy roll out of the vaccine.
